Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

Our current PTO board would like to thank you for all your support throughout the school year.  We have tried our best to do what's best for the children and school.  Working with you all has been a great pleasure.  

We are upon the time to start the 2023-2024 school year election process.  We will be having an open election for all positions.  If you or someone you know is interested in any available positions, please feel free to nominate them or yourself. I have included the description of the positions below; however, we are very flexible and sometimes switch up roles as needed. Any help that you can commit to will be a massive benefit to the school and the children. Forms will be available at the front office upon request.

Positions to be considered and descriptions

President- Presides over board and General PTO meetings, coordinates work of all PTO members to ensure duties are being carried out, signs contracts and checks, and serves FLE as a liaison between PTO and Administration/Staff.

Vice President-Oversee all committees that run and organize special events, Leads family & volunteer engagement initiatives within our school and the local community. Identifies volunteer opportunities & needs with families to include ALL school community members.

Treasurer-Collects, deposit, and disburse all funds according to the budget. Maintain a current record of income, expenditures & assets. Present a financial report of income and expenses at each meeting, prepare a year-end financial report, and file all required tax forms.

Secretary-Record the minutes of all meetings, and maintain a file of important documents. Oversee the running of the school store, which occurs twice a month. 

Teacher Liaison-Serves as a liaison between teachers, parents, students, support staff, and the community regarding educational programs, services, and various student issues; assists in coordinating and arranging various programs and services to meet the needs of students.
