School History

Forest Lake Elementary is proud to be a Deltona neighborhood school since 1997. We currently have a population of approximately 660 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade and offer Regular Education, Gifted, ESE, EB/D, and ESE Pre-Kindergarten programs. We also offer a variety of special education services including on-site speech, occupational therapy, and ESOL programs. Students in grades 4 and 5 are eligible to participate in academically based after school clubs, ensemble, safety patrol and the live closed circuit news show PNN.

Forest Lake is also proud to host an afternoon Extended Day Enrichment Program and summer camp for students. The EDEP offers a safe environment with supervised after-school enrichment activities including, but not limited to, homework monitoring, tutoring, community service projects, arts and crafts, music, drama, outside recreational activities and much more! To find out more about this school and others in our district, please click on the link below.
